Malaysia Trip a Success!

January 14th, 2008

Petronas TowersI had a great trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the Global Knowledge Conference (GK3). I made friends with fellow scholarship recipients of the Global Young Social Entrepreneurs’ Competition, and I learned about their amazing social enterprises all over the world. I’m confident that the friendships we forged in Malaysia will translate into partnerships for positive social change. I also had the opportunity to visit several attractions including the Skybridge that connects the Petronas Twin Towers, the National Mosque, the Menara Kuala Lumpur (KL Tower), Chinatown, and the Night Market. It was an incredible trip that I will always remember. Thanks to the organizers and sponsors of the scholarship competition for making it all possible!
